Schritt 2 / 2 - Holzleisten verwittern

Jetzt geht man dran, nachdem man die Leistchen und Brettchen passend abgelängt hat, dem Holz die oberflächliche und mechanische Verwitterung zu geben. Dazu schneiden wir mit dem Skalpell alle Bretter an den Enden ein bis zwei Millimeter ein, so dass sie etwas ausgefranst wirken. Man kann natürlich auch die Bretter derart beschneiden dass sie krumm und verzogen aussehen. Mit der Drahtbürste bearbeitet man nun die Oberfläche in Faserrichtung solange bis die Oberfläche schön maserig aussieht. Auf dem Bild sieht man nun die fertigen Teile eines Zaunabschnitts, natürlich muss man nun noch die Feinheiten mittels Farbe und/oder Pigmenten ausarbeiten. Hier bietet es sich an, die Enden der Bretter fein mit schwarzer Wasserfarbe zu washen um einen angefaulten vermoderten Eindruck zu erreichen. Mit grüner Pastellkreide lässt sich zudem recht gut Moos darstellen. CC
