Exotische Mango-Marmelade mit Wodka

Die Mango schälen
Die Mango wird mit dem Sparschäler geschält und vom Kern gelöst. Das ist nicht ganz so einfach. Mein Tip: den Saft auffangen!!...
Schritt 2
Grapefruchtsaft
Die Mangostücke klein schneiden. Dann tut man alles in einen Topf und gibt einen halben Liter Grapefruchtsaft hinzu und 500 Gramm Gelierzucker und den Saft einer Zitrone....

Bei niedriger Temperatur kochen lassen
Jetzt muss alles noch 4 Minuten kochen, wie in der Gelierzuckeranleitung angegeben....

Purieren
Die Konsistenz der Marmelade wird mit einem Purierstab verfeinert....
Schritt 5
Wodka hinzugeben
Zuletzt kommt dann der Wodka, den wir noch einmal kräftig unterrühren. Sollen auch Kinder von der Marmelade kosten, lässt man den Vodka einfach weg, doch verstärkt er den fruchtigen Geschmack....
