DSL Router Fritz!Box und andere: Umbau auf stärkere Antenne

Den Router öffnen
Zuerst muss der Router geöffnet werden. Bei der Fritz!Box sehr angenehm, die ist lediglich ge-Clipst. Die vier Clips befinden sich auf der Unterseite je paarig an den schmalen Seiten. Einfach den Pl...

Der offene Router
So sieht der Router offen aus. Das WLan Modul befindet sich links unten, links oben die Antenne. Einfach die Platine rausheben und die hintere Blende....

Dann zieht man den U.FL Antennenstecker vom WLan-Modul ab. Das Teil ist Subminiatur, wirklich winzig, also etwas Vorsicht ......

Die Antenne ist mit einem Clipsystem an der Blende befestigt. Auf der Innenseite der Blende die Clips oben und Unten mit der Flachzange leicht zusammendrücken und die Antennenhalterung nach außen rau...

  • kleine Flachzange,
  • eventuell etwas Knetkleber oder zwei Beilagscheiben
Material:
  • Der Router - na klar
  • das Kabel (U.Fl auf RP-SMA Pigtail)
  • die neue Antenne

Klasse Idee! Cool, dass das funktioniert. Das spart den Repeater im Haus.

So gut und unkompliziert die Fritz!Box als DSL-Router sonst auch ist, die Leistung der Antenne ist doch eher recht bescheiden.

Dabei ist ein Umbau auf eine leistungsstärkere Antenne wirklich super einfach und bringt extrem viel ... mir z.B., dass ich mit meinem Notebook bald wieder unterm Birnbaum im Garten arbeiten kann https://wawerko.de/dsl-router-fritzbox-und-andere-umbau-auf-staerkere-antenne+2719.html
