Für den maritimen Look habe ich die Tragegriffe des Esstabletts mit einer dicken weißen Kordel umwickelt. Dazu muss man zunächst das Anfangstück parallel zum Griff mit etwas Sekundenkleber fixieren. D...

Nun muss man noch die Abstellfläche etwas aufhübschen. Ich habe dazu eine alte Landkarte verwendet, aber man kann auch jedes andere Papier z.B. eine Zeitung dazu verwenden - mein Mann und ich verreise...

Schritt 1 / 3 - Tablett lackieren

Zunächst war es zwingend angebracht das gelbe Tablett neu zu lackieren. Die Farbe erinnerte mich zu sehr an die 60er Jahre, deren "bunter Plastikstil" ich persönlich nicht sonderlich ansprechend finde - auch wenn ich weiß, dass einige Leute dieser Zeit hinterhertrauern. Zum Lackieren habe ich einfachen Sprühlack verwendet. Eigentlich muss man zum Lackieren von Plastik die Oberfläche vorab anschleifen oder mit einer Kunststoffgrundieren für das Lackieren vorbereiten, doch es handelte sich nur um ein altes Tablett. Das war mir einfachen die Mühe und die Kosten nicht wert. Also habe ich den weißen Sprühlack direkt aufgetragen und bin auch mit dem Ergebnis ganz zufrieden. Dann musste das Esstablett erstmal einige Zeit, so ca. 5 Stunden, trocknen. Anschließend konnte ich dann auch die Unterseite lackieren. Und noch ein Tipp: Wenn man das Plastik lackiert, dann stellt man das Tablett am besten auf einen alten Karton, damit nicht aus Versehen die Zeitung zum Abdecken des Bodens an den Rändern des Tabletts kleben bleibt.
